About the Erasmus programme
Erasmus is an exchange program established by the European Union that enables intensive cooperation between universities within the EU and in particular mobilities of students
and teachers between the partner schools.
This program was launched in 1987, since then over 1 million students from the whole Europe have participated in it.
VOŠIS joined the Erasmus program in 2002 and the first students’ mobilities were organized in the school year 2003/2004.
Basic principles of student mobilities
- students receive a scholarship to spend between 3 and 12 months studying in another EU country
- the students do not pay any school fees, registration charges or charges for exams on the foreign university
- full recognition of their study program abroad by their home institution where the scholarship should be an integral part of their study program
